Lesson Bookings
Lessons must be booked in advance using our agreed booking method.
A booking is considered confirmed once both parties have agreed the lesson date and time.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are available at the agreed time and have a suitable internet connection and device for online lessons.
Payments
Payment terms will be confirmed when booking your lesson or package.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment should be made before the scheduled lesson.
Failure to make payment may result in lessons being postponed or cancelled.
All prices are subject to change, although confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please provide as much notice as possible.
Where sufficient notice is given, we will do our best to arrange another suitable lesson time.
Lessons missed without notice or repeated late cancellations may not be eligible for rescheduling or refund.
If Conversational Portuguese needs to cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative appointment will be arranged at no additional cost.
Online Lessons
Students are responsible for ensuring they have:
- A stable internet connection
- A suitable computer, tablet or smartphone
- Working microphone and speakers or headphones
- Access to the agreed online meeting platform
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by the student’s internet connection, equipment or technical issues beyond our control.
Learning Expectations
Every student progresses at their own pace.
While we provide professional guidance and structured learning, we cannot guarantee specific language outcomes, examination results or fluency within a particular timeframe.
Progress depends on factors including attendance, participation, practice and individual commitment.
Student Responsibilities
Students agree to:
- Attend lessons on time
- Treat tutors respectfully
- Participate positively during lessons
- Complete any recommended practice where possible
- Provide accurate information when booking lessons
Any inappropriate, abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in lessons being terminated without refund.
